Hoffeinheim played a 1-1 draw against FC Koln on Friday, and it gave Borussia Dortmund an opportunity to climb on third spot in Bundesliga table. Monchengladbach did well enough to force them to play a draw, but Raphael Guerreiro late strike earned them a victory to settle at third spot on Bundesliga points table.

Marco Reus returning from his injury starts for Dortmund, and it takes him only nine minutes to prove his presence. He converted from the penalty spot to give Die Borussen lead, although the referee adjudged it wrongly. Dahould challenge on Christian Pulisic came outside the box, but Reus capitalizes on referee mistake to give Dortmund 1-0 lead.
Monchengladbach didn’t sit back as well. They scored twice to equalize and then took lead. Lars Stindl scored in 43rd minute of the game to equalize and once again Marcel Schmelzer puts the ball in his own net in 48th minute to hand the home side a lead as well.
Dortmund needed spark to turn the game, and they brought on their star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from the bench to play for the last half an hour. Gabonesee international made an immediate impact scoring the Dortmund equalizer in 59th minute. It took him only 107 seconds to score his 27th goal of the season after coming on to the pitch,but the job was half done till then.
Borussia Dortmund needed a victory to grab the third spot, which will allow them an automatic qualification for the next season Uefa Champions League group stage. Raphael Guerreiro almost have produced the stunner in 83rd minute, but it hits the post. He waited a little longer to hand his team victory, but he finds the winner for Dortmund in 88th minute from Castro free kick.
