It’s difficult to describe the Uefa Champions League 2016/17 final in Cardiff. The stage for final on 3rd June is set for the two finalists Juventus and Real Madrid. On one hand, Real will be up for the task to do something incredible, and on the other hand Juve will be desperate to pull it off this time.
Real Madrid have an opportunity to retain the Champions League which no team has ever done since Champions League era, then Juventus have a mammoth task to stop the 11 time European Champion and clinch their third European title.

The world’s best defense will have another test against the best attack. Gigi Buffon’s led Bianconeri side have only conceded thrice in this seasons’ Champions League 12 game played, whereas Los Blancos have yet to play a game in which they’ll fail to score this season.
It’s going to be a very entertaining night in Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium, and two of the Europe’s powerhouses from two different countries is going to do the honour to entertain the football fans around the world in three weeks’ time.
Juventus reaches the final eliminating semifinalist Monaco 4-1 on aggregate, whereas Real Madrid beats city rival Atletico Madrid 4-2 aggregate to reach to the final. It’s fourth time in a row that Los Merengues eliminated Rojiblancos from the competition to prove there is only one team from Madrid which deserves to stamp their name on Europe’s elite trophy.
Juventus has the luxury to be the only Italian team to reach to the latter stages of the tournament, but they also have a huge responsibility to clinch the title. They have no competition in Italian domestic league and they are verge of clinching their sixth successive Scudetto, and only place where they need to prove is in European competition.
Real Madrid and Juventus last met in the competition in 2014/15 at semifinal stage, and that time Italian Champion outsmart defending champion 3-2 aggregate, but they failed to beat the eventual champion Barcelona in final. This is another opportunity for the Old Lady of Turin to put their stamp on Europe’s elite list by winning the Europe’s elite trophy.
There will be huge burden on Real Madrid to become the first team to retain the Champions League, and Juventus can take the advantage of that making the most of their chances. Juve’s attack is not their strength, but it has improved this season with the presence of Gonzalo Higuain, Paulo Dybala, and Mario Mandzukic.
Real Madrid have the best squad with the world’s best bench strength, but they still have to hope Buffon & Co. have a bad game in Cardiff if they wants to retain their trophy. Buffon, Barzagli, Chiellini, and Bonucci have years of experience to guarding the Italy’s national team and Juventus’ back together, and they won’t allow defending champion to have an easy ride against them.
Dragon City is ready to put fire on flame with their huge Dragon statue on rooftop of Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on 3rd June, but it’s time for both teams to prepare to become the dragon on the night. Will it be Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale or Italy’s finest goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon who will be lifting the trophy in his final year with the club for the very first time? Whoever it be, it’s going to be an emotional night in Cardiff, and the world couldn’t wait to watch the Champions League 2016/17 final.
