Paris Saint-Germain is scoring with free flow this season in Uefa Champions League. They look like a different beast when it comes to European games. They hammered Celtic 7-1 at Parc des Princes to take their goal tally to 24 with a game still to play. Neymar and Edinson Cavani continues to prove their supremacy as both scored double along with goals from Marco Verratti, Kylian Mbappe and Dani Alves.

Borussia Dortmund had the record of most goals in group stage with 21 scored in last season campaign, but PSG eclipsed the previous record with Marco Verratti’s goal against Celtic on Wednesday. The Parisians have already put the ball into the net 24 times and they still have a game to play against Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena.

PSG vs Celtic game started with high intensity as Moussa Dembele gave visitors a lead within first minute of the game. Hosts were on back-sit but it took them only six minutes to equalize thanks to the world’s most expensive player playing alongside them.

Neymar came lively against Celtic as he scored both of the PSG first two goals. Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbapee both joins him on the scoresheet before half-time to make it 4-1 for the Parisians. Verratti added fifth in 75th minute in second-half, whereas Cavani grabbed his second of the night in 79th minute. Dani Alves round up the scoring with his sensational 22 yard strike in 80th minute, handing Celtic another heavy defeat in the competition.

PSG hadn’t conceded a goal this season in Europe before this game, but Dembele goal ruined their record of completing the group stage without conceding. They’ll travel to Allianz Arena in Munich to finish at top of the group B on matchday sixth.

PSG already have 15 points, whereas Bayern Munich waits at second place with 12 points. Bavarians will be looking to take revenge against Parisians at Allianz Arena, but it will do little to finish them at top of the table.
