On Wednesday Uefa.com releases stats on each last 16 team chances to make it into the Uefa Champions League next round, and it didn’t came out any good for FC Barcelona. Barcelona trail PSG 0-4, and they have an uphill task to outnumber the score sheet, and according to Uefa reports, Barcelona holds no chance to qualify in the next round.

Uefa reports, 58 times away team has 4-0 advantage from the first leg, and not a single time hosts have been able to turn the table. It gives Barcelona 0% chance to qualify for the next round, which is a demoralizing report for Blaugranas. If they will be able to outplay PSG at Camp Nou, it will be first time, a team will be able to overcome 4-0 deficit.

Although, there is no doubt, Barcelona has the ability, and they can do it. They did something spectacular in 2012/13 season against AC Milan, when they were trailing 2-0 down from the first leg. They won 4-2 aggregate the tie, with a 4-0 victory at Camp Nou, and Messi strikes double in first half.

We can expect something miracle to happen once again, but Uefa sees it differently. Their stats speak volume and they are sticking to it, Barcelona has no chance to make into the quarterfinals of 2016/17 season. It gives PSG 100% chance to qualify into the quarterfinals.

Bayern Munich has 98.8% chance to qualify for the next round, after registering a 5-1 home victory against Arsenal. Juventus lies on third with their 97.3% of chances, after their 2-0 away victory against Porto, whereas Atletico Madrid holds the fourth position in their chances of qualifying into the quarterfinal with 96.6%, with their 4-2 away victory against Bayer Leverkusen.

Real Madrid has 77.2% of chances after their 3-1 home victory against Napoli, whereas Sevilla, Manchester City & Borussia Dortmund respectively have 51.1%, 60%, and 59.4% chances.

However, Barcelona should not lose hope. Uefa has given Arsenal 1.2% chance despite trailing 5-1 against Bayern Munich. Real Madrid has turned the tie after losing 5-1 against Borussia Monchengladbach in Uefa Cup 1985/86 third round, winning second leg at home 4-0, and qualified into next round with away goal. It’s good enough for Barcelona to give hope, if their rivals can turn the tie, they can do it as well.
