Nicolas Marasco is a disable child, suffering from cerebral palsy. He can’t walk & talk, but he understands everything and her mother Marisa Mariani interprets his every feeling. The little boy has immense feeling for Argentine talisman man Lionel Messi, and he has a doll named Lio, who he always carries with himself. Nico with the help of her mother Marisa wrote a sweet letter to the Barcelona star to ask him to meet his teddy Lio, which he bought during his travel to Barcelona on his way to Rome, to meet Pope Fransisco.

Nico carries his teddy even in his dreams, and he wants his real hero Messi to meet his doll as well. Argentina’s leading newspaper Clarin publishes the letter in their letter of the year section writting Nico wants Messi to meet his doll Lio, about whom he writes,”He is brave like you and that’s why i love so much.”

“Although he is bit old and battered….he shares with me the nice things and some more difficult, like when i am hospitalized. But, he is always with me. I also wanted to tell you that my parents, like yours, always accompany me in everything and that makes me feel stronger! Do you know one thing? I can’t talk or walk, but they know very well, what’s in my heart and always tell me that you have to keep dreaming about what i want and i think you know a lot about that…Your parents taught you how to be like you!”

Nico also introduces Messi to his mom and dad, who are working for disabled child through their PRISMA foundation. Nico letter reaches to Messi through his relative friend, and 8 hours later, Messi himself dropped into his mother email inbox, sending a cheeky message through video.

Messi said, “Hello Nico,I want to tell you that I read your letter, and that’s why I wanted to say hello. Tell you that I wish I could meet your doll ” Lio ” and that we can meet personally, at some point. So I send you a big kiss. Surely it is going to happen and we are going to meet the three. ” Mundo Deportivo writes.

It’s a heart touching gesture by the five time Ballon d’or winner to fulfill his little fan dream. Messi will be back to Argentina in two weeks to play the FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Chile and Bolivia, and he may make Nico wish true visiting him personally.
