Cristiano Ronaldo’s prolific form continues to delight the football fans around the world and with his double against Celta Vigo, he made sure Real fight for double continues as well. Real Madrid didn’t give anything away against the expected title spoiler Celta Vigo as they routed them 4-1. Ronaldo bags a double once again, whereas Karim Benzema & Toni Kroos also finds the net to move Los Blancos within a point of Laliga title.
Real Madrid were lucky to escape the game in February due to poor weather condition at Balaidos, when Celta were in form and had already eliminated Real from Copa del Rey. It came at a favourable time for them when Celta is not in good form, and Ronaldo led Madrid took the advantage to almost seal the title.

Ronaldo almost scoring a double in his every game has 13 goals to his name from last eight matches. He opened the scoring for Real to give them an early lead, and Isco’s brilliant ball handed him his second of the night later. Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos also runs the right at Balaidos to make sure Madrid will have no hiccups on final match day against Malaga, and they could win the title even if Malaga forced them to play a draw.
There will be no chance for title holders Barcelona to claim their title defense if Real beats Malaga on Sunday or even they play a draw. Barcelona will be playing Eibar on Sunday at the same time as well, but their result will have no impact on the title as long as Real finishes their business in style.
It will be Real Madrid’s first Laliga title in last five seasons, and this is the opportunity they can’t let go. Zinedine Zidane has used his squad very well, and Ronaldo has been given enough of rest to fire whenever his team needs.
Real Madrid is firing from all cylinders and they only need to fire one last time to claim their 33rd league title. Malaga is in good form with five game unbeaten run, and in course, they have beaten teams like Valencia, Sevilla, and Celta Vigo. Their latest 2-2 draw against Real Sociedad may give a threat to Real Madrid, but Los Blancos will be happy to play a draw if situation forces them to play a draw.
It won’t be a party spoiler. Their biggest threat was the away game against Celta Vigo at Balaidos, and they have comfortably passed that test with 4-1 victory. Malaga will of course be a challenge, but they won’t be able to stop Madrid with the current form of Ronaldo & the co.
