Zinedine Zidane enjoyed success with Real Madrid in last two years as coach, but his current campaign has been a disturbing one. Los Blancos have no chance of winning the league (La Liga) unless and until Barcelona starts making mistakes on regular occasions. They have already been eliminated from Copa del Rey against Leganes with 2-2 aggregate loss on away goals, and their last hope will be winning Uefa Champions League third time in a row.
Zidane is finding no rescue in current campaign and game by game frustrations are increasing in Real’s camp. They have only accumulated 39 points on La Liga table, winning only 11 games, losing 4 and playing 6 draws. Their latest draw came in 2-2 draw against Levante on Saturday. Giampaolo Pazzinni, the 33-year-old veteran from Verona on loan earned the point for Levante in 89th minute.
“I will always say that the league isn’t over”

Pazzinni said in his interaction with the media earlier that he hasn’t come to Levante as a tourist and he wants serious game. He proved it on his debut for Levante snatching a point from Spanish giant. Real Madrid were leading the match with 1-0 advantage earned by Sergio Ramos’ header, but Boateng earned the equalizer for Levante to cancel out injury returned Ramos’ effort.
Isco turned the game on after coming as a substitute for Gareth Bale. He scored in 81st minute for Real, but it was Pazzinni who had a final say in the game. Real Madrid lost two points in the dying seconds of the game and it left Zidane with no answers for what’s going wrong in this current campaign.
There were news that Zidane may lose his position if he failed to impress against Paris-Saint Germain in Uefa Champions League last 16 draw. Last 16 first leg will be played next week and it’s not a good preparation losing points in domestic game before a big game. PSG game will be a challenging game and Zinedine Zidane will have to find rescue if he wants to save his job as Europe’s best club manager.
